Qala’at Al Bahrain ( 09:40) :

Qala’at Al Bahrain also known as Bahrain,it was also inscribed as UNESCO world heritage site in 2005. The fort and Museum describes the archaeology of the country, also they have documented the archaeological periods by maintaining the artefacts discovered on the sites. The fort also includes a museum where the artefacts are placed along with a café, as well as lecture hall and gift shop.

Al Jasra Handicraft ( 10:00 ):

Located in the village of Al Jasra, Al Jasra offers a look into the traditional handicrafts and arts. Al Jasra Handicrafts Centre showcases pottery making, cloth weaving, wood working and basket weaving that are created using the traditional method. Al Jasra House also known as Bait Al Jasra, is a traditional style house built in the village of Al Jasra in 1907, it was restored in 1986 using the traditional building materials such as coral stones and palm tree trunks.

Al Fateh Grand Mosque (10:30):

Al Fateh Grand Mosque is Bahrain’s largest place of worship and among one of the world’s largest mosque. It was built in 1987 and it accommodates over 7000 worshippers at a time. The Huge dome built on Al Fateh Mosque is made of fibreglass, the marble used in the floors is Italian, the chandelier is from Austria, the doors are made out of teak wood from India. The walls of the mosque are beautifully ornamented with Kufic calligraphy and it holds a very beautiful architecture. Tourists visit the mosque and tours are conducted in variety of languages

Bab ul Bahrain (11:00) :

Bab Al Bahrain is located in the Capital city of Manama, it was built in 1949, one of the main tourist attractions. This Souq (market) hold variety of shops and restaurants, holds a very beautiful interior, it clearly describes the culture of Bahrain.

It has variety of shops offering traditiona clothes, perfumes, sweets, handicrafts and many souvenirs to choose from. The Souq gives a very unique shopping experience to the shoppers.

Bahrain National Museum (11:30) :

Bahrain National Museum is one of the most astounding and crowning achievement of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s efforts of preserving the nation’s history and heritage. It covers nearly 5000 years of Bahrain’s history. Old Quranic manuscripts, Sculptures, Burial mounds, artefacts, ancient documents and cultural sculptures. There is a hall devoted for everything that describes the heritage of the country. Opened in 1988 and still is one of the most visited tourist attractions.
